Jeremy Renner Open To Netflix; Responds to Stephen Amell’s Arrow vs Hawkeye Claims (Video)

Jeremy Renner recently attended the Silicon Valley Comic-Con. Below you can check out the video from the Q&A.

Worth a mention is that Renner states he would be “definitely open” to doing a Netflix series as well as a Hawkeye standalone movie. Renner also responds to Stephen Amell’s claims from the 2014 Comic-Con, which saw Amell state, “I can beat Hawkeye in any contest,” and Renner says if he had to choose between Deadpool or Wolverine, it would be the latter because he’s a big Wolverine fan.

Here are some highlights:

Renner on Netflix:

If there’s ever a way to explore the character, maybe it’s in that world. I don’t know. Again these are things that are out of my control, so I don’t really kind of do anything about it… but I would be definitly open to it. I’ve really started to enjoy exploring the character more as of recently. The Netflix model is really a fantastic way to.. that’s where all the character drama goes to now. It’s either you are doing a superhero movie or you kind of go to a Netflix model or HBO… that’s where all the good television is, right? Always open to something like that. I don’t need to say yes or no to those things.

Renner on Stephen Amell’s Arrow claims:

“I’m happy that ficticious character can beat this other ficticious character in any random contest that he would like to challenge…I’m happy for that.”

Regarding the solo Hawkeye movie, fans brought up Aubrey Plaza as a co-star, which Renner was open to.
