AMAZON UNVEILS OFFICIAL SEASON TWO TRAILER OF THE EMMY AWARD WINNING SERIES “THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE” AT NEW YORK COMIC CON Today, Amazon premiered the official season two trailer of “The Man in the High Castle” to a room full of excited fans in the Hammerstein Ballroom at New York Comic Con.

The Tick debuts August 19th and is executive produced by Patrick Warburton, who headlined the previous live-action version, and also sees the return of executive producers Ben Edlund, Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld. Tick creator Ben Edlund is also writing the new series.
The pilot episode of The Tick is being helmed by Transcendence’s Wally Pfister.
Synopsis:
In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an underdog accountant with zero powers comes to realize his city is owned by a global super villain long-thought dead. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero. The Tick stars Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy), Griffin Newman (Vinyl), Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen), Valorie Curry (House of Lies), Yara Martinez (Jane the Virgin) and Brendan Hines (Scorpion). Karl Urban wants Dredd 2 on either Amazon Prime or Netflix.
The actor tweeted out in response to a fan’s recommendation: “Dredd 2: I’d do it !! @netflix or @Amazon . There’s a gold mine of Awesome Mega city 1 stories!”
Karl Urban starred in Dredd in 2012, which is considered a big bomb at the box office, but has a huge cult following. The movie only brought in $35 million on a $50 million budget.
There was initial talk of doing a sequel by Urban; however, both the director and producer stated it’s not going to happen, with the reason cited being the obvious: It’s all about money.
Maybe an Amazon or Netflix Dredd 2 movie/series is the way to go?

Sony Pictures Television and Amazon have cast Peter Serafinowicz as the titular superhero in the upcoming The Tick live-action series set for Amazon Prime.
Serafinowicz was recently featured in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Original live-action Tick, Patrick Warburton, is on board the series as an executive producer. Creator Ben Edlund is also returning and will write and executive produce. The pilot episode is being directed by Christopher Nolan’s cinematographer and the director of Transcendence Wally Pfister.
Peter Serafinowicz joins Griffin Newman as Tick’s sidekick Arthur aka Moth Man, and Valorie Curry is paying Arthur’s sister, Dot.
The Tick first started off as a comic book before becoming an animated series in 1994 followed by the 2001 live-action series.

A second Batman Vs. Superman game has launched with “The Wayne Investigation,” which is a choose-your-own-adventure style game for the Amazon Echo.
Variety reports anyone who owns an Amazon Echo smart loudspeaker or an Amazon Fire TV with Alexa integration can play the game.
“The Wayne Investigation” game lets users immerse themselves in the world of Gotham, just days after Bruce Wayne’s parents were killed. Amazon’s personal assistant Alexa doubles as a user’s ears and eyes during this investigation, guiding them through multiple rooms, giving them choices and helping them to find valuable clues.
“We’re thrilled to work with Warner Brothers and DC Comics to bring ‘The Wayne Investigation’ to our Alexa-enabled devices,” said Rob Pulciani, Director of Alexa. “This is the first Alexa skill to use a combination of produced audio assets and Alexa technology.”
Users are given up to 37 decisions throughout the game, which can take anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes, depending on the decisions of the player.
A “Who Will Win” Batman Vs. Superman game is also available.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves. The BBC recently removed Doctor Who from Netflix and Hulu, and while it was thought the BBC might have been launching their own streaming service, it’s now become known the new home of The Doctor is at Amazon.
In a tweet that has since been deleted for some reason, Amazon announced Doctor Who series 1-8 will be available to stream through Amazon Prime in March.
“Want to know the future? Now you can! Here’s what’s coming to #PrimeVideo in March. #Bosch #DrWho,” the tweet said, which was accompanied by a video (watch below) teasing other titles coming to Amazon Prime next month: season two of Bosch, season three of Orphan Black, the original Ghostbusters movie, and The End of the Tour.
Doctor Who is currently available on Netflix across the pond, but will be removed in May. It’s unknown if Doctor Who will continue through Netflix in the UK or move on to Amazon Prime.
New Doctor Who episodes aren’t set to be released until 2017, so March can’t get here fast enought for Whovians.
