Marvel Producer Teases Tom Holland

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:23966:]]

Marvel Studios producer Louis D’Esposito has taken to Twitter to offer a look at new Spider-Man Tom Holland.

“I run into [Tom Holland] in the craziest places,” D’Esposito tweeted.

The two appear to be on the set of a movie, possibly Captain America: Civil War or maybe even Doctor Strange as Holland was previously spotted on set.

Maybe the two are inside an Avengers Quinjet?

Holland also appears to have bruising on the right side of his face. The actor previously let it be known he fell during filming of Civil War and injured his face.

Tom Holland is set to first appear in Captain America: Civil War followed by the standalone Spider-Man movie.

Marvel Producer Teases Thanos For Avengers: Infinity War

Infinity War Teaser

Marvel producer Louis D’Esposito has taken to Twitter to tease Thanos for The Avengers: Infinity War movies.

We know at least 67 Marvel characters are set to do battle with Thanos (or quite possibly some join his side), and that this time out, Thanos won’t be messing around.

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo also offered the difference in tone between the Captain America movies and Infinity War.

D’Esposito posted the image of Thanos with, “Guess what meeting I’m in.”

The Avengers: Infinity War hits May 4, 2018, with Part 2 on May 3, 2019.

Following Captain America: Civil War and prior to the standalone 2017 Spider-Man movie, could we see Tom Holland in Doctor Strange?

If the following image is anything to go by, it seems likely.

Marvel producer Louis D’Esposito posted the following image of himself along with new Spider-Man Tom Holland and director Scott Derrickson. D’Esposito also previously gave an inside look at Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum.

A Spider-Man appearance wouldn’t be unheard of as they both share NYC as their home base.

“Doctor Strange” has a November 4, 2016 release starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton and Mads Mikkelsen.

Sorry Mar-Vell Fans, Looks Like Carol is Captain Marvel In The Movie Universe

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:9445:]]

Debuting at this weekend’s Comic-Con is the Marvel Studios one shot short film, Agent Carter.

The short stars Hayley Atwell reprising as Agent Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avenger which could very well be the first of many to come.

EW.com asked Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito just that, with the producer on the likes of The Avengers and Iron Man 3 offering up that other Marvel comics characters have been thought about.

Loki is mentioned as being one as is a young Nick Fury with Dum Dum Dugan, and Black Panther.

D’Esposito also mentions Carol Danvers, and if you think Marvel Studios isn’t aware of the Marvel Comics, you can guess again as the co-pres refers to her as Captain Marvel.

Let’s just say I knew I was going to direct Captain Marvel [as a feature], right? And we knew who was going to play her. That would make it easy to introduce her first in a One-Shot. But that’s a plan that requires a lot of coordination. And I don’t know if really we … if I’ve been thinking that far ahead. It’s difficult enough to find something that’s enjoyable, that we can tell with the budget limitations and in the time we have. Introducing a lot of complicated variables might weaken that.

Marvel Cosmic fans obviously know that Danvers recently took on the title “Captain Marvel” along with her new series, which isn’t selling well at all (under 20K); however, for some reason, Marvel is still keeping it around.

Carol Danvers has been long time rumored to be appearing in the Marvel Studios movies and even The Avengers 2. We’re guessing as “Captain Marvel.”

Let’s just hope we don’t hear one of the execs refer to Sam Alexander as Nova.
