Sylvester Stallone’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Character Possibly Known

Sylvester Stallone’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2 character possibly becomes known through a foreign cast description.

As suspected, Sylvester Stallone appears to be playing an original member of the 1969 Guardians of the Galaxy team from the comics as Stallone is listed as playing Stakar, who is also known as Starkhawk and happens to be one of director James Gunn’s favorite characters.

As we also just reported, Starhawk was recently hinted at in the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Junior Novel.

We can now also assume that Michael Rosenbaum is playing another original member of the Guardians of the Galaxy as Gunn let it be known Rosenbaum and Stallone’s characters are intertwined.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release directed by James Gunn starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.

Synopsis:

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.
