SyFy’s Bitten Ends With Season 3

It’s learned the third season of Bitten will be its last.

The Canadian series will end on both SyFy and the Space channel in 2016.

THR reports Space has decided against renewing the series, while Syfy will also not pick up the sci-fi drama for a fourth season.

“With the incomparable Laura Vandervoort at the helm, Bitten was a ferocious drama from the get-go and we are so proud to have seen it make its mark in the television landscape from its home on Space,” said Tracey Pearce, senior vp specialty and pay at Space-parent Bell Media. “Along with the many devoted fans, we cannot wait to see what happens with Elena and the rest of The Pack as the Bitten saga finally culminates in Season 3.

The final season of Bitten will debut on Space on Febraury 12, 2016 in a new Friday night slot. Syfy has yet to set a premiere date for season three.

If you happen to be a bit (pardon the pun) down by the news, you can check out Laura Vandervoort’s Maxim cover and images which should brighten your mood.

About Bitten:

Desperate to escape both a world she never wanted to be part of and the man who turned her into a werewolf, Elena (Vandervoort) has abandoned her Pack and taken refuge in a new city. There, she works as a photographer and hides her werewolf existence from her new boyfriend. When bodies start turning up in her Pack’s backyard, Elena finds herself back at Stonehaven, the werewolves’ ancestral domain. Torn between two worlds and two loves, she quickly realizes that – when push comes to shove – she’ll stop at nothing to defend her Pack.
