Some of us grew up reading the comic,” she told ET. “I feel like it’s being made with so much love. This Superman will have a sense of humor. We’re excited to both put out own spin on things but also honor this material that we all love so much.”

Anthony Carrigan preparing for Metamorpho

Speaking with THR he also says he is preparing for the role by reading the comic books.

“Yeah, just using my imagination,” Carrigan says. “The character has never been played before at least in real life so I am doing that thing where I like to draw inspiration from everywhere. I throw it all into a pot and see what happens.”
