The Suicide Squad Revealed On Empire Magazine Covers

The cast of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad stands revealed as the latest covers for Empire Magazine feature the motley crew of characters.

The issue goes on sale next Thursday and will feature:

Inside the magazine, you’ll find the very first images from the film anywhere, as well as behind the scenes pics, and a world-first interview with Gunn himself – talking about the winding road that brought him to DC, how The Suicide Squad helped him rediscover the filmmaker he wanted to be, reconnecting with Marvel, and why his new film will be unlike anything audiences have ever seen before. It’s packed with brand new insights into a movie full of surprises, only in Empire Magazine.

The Suicide Squad has an Aug. 6, 2021 release date.

The cast includes: Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, John Cena as Peacemaker, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2, Steve Agee as King Shark, Nathan Fillion as TDK, Mayling Ng as Mongal, Flula Borg as Javelin, Sean Gunn as Weasel, Michael Rooker as Savant, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Peter Capaldi as The Thinker, Alice Braga as Sol Soria, Storm Reid as Tyla, Bloodsport’s daughter, Juan Diego Botto as General Luna, Joaquín Cosío as Major General Suarez, Taika Waititi as Ratcher 1.

We also see the cover blurb offers a quote from James Gunn that states, “There are no rules.”

In addition to the movie, Gunn is also developing a Peacemaker spinoff series for HBO Max starring John Cena.
