Netflix released a new teaser for Stranger Things 3 featuring a title tease.
“In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues,” the video description offers, with the video confirming the series returns in 2019.
The video seen above offers the names of each episode for the new season.
While no exact premiere date has been announced, a few details about Stranger Things Season 3 are known as executive producer and writer on the series, Shawn Levy, offered the season will even be more action-packed.
“That would be part of the store, but not at all representative of the season,” Levy teased in a previous interview. “There’s no question that, as you saw in that infomercial, Starcourt Mall is a part of season 3. As is summertime. So season 3 has a really healthy dose of poppy, bright levity and cultural fun. But I can only promise you that season 3 eventually goes places that are darker, and unquestionably more action-packed, than we’ve ever gone before.”
As noted, Stranger Things 3 will be darker and Levy also said the new season will have a big bad.
“[It’s] definitely going to yet darker still, places that I think audiences are going to really love. It’s got so much heart and humor,” Levy previous said and added in a separate interview, “We’re not going to put Will through hell for a third season in a row. He’ll be dealing with stuff, but he won’t be at rock bottom the way we forced the amazing Noah Schnapp to play… We’re [going to be] dealing with forces of evil that are new.”
