I think a lot of fans suspected the latest footage of Star Wars: Rogue One revealed a first look at Warwick Davis’ character.
Now Warwick Davis has taken to Twitter to confirm the news.
“My @starwars #RogueOne character made the TV trailer cut. Incidentally, this is the first #StarWars character I’ve played who has a blaster!” Warwick Davis said.
Warwick Davis played Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi, a pod race spectator in Phantom Menace, and most recently Wollivan in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and is slated to also appear in Star Wars: Episode VIII. Anybody else still waiting for a sequel to Willow?!

“Star Wars: Rogue One” has a December 16, 2016 release directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
