The Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker Rotten Tomatoes score once again has critics and fans on opposing sides.

While critics didn’t favor the flick, for the most part, fans seem to enjoy it, of course, unless Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker is getting positive review bombs.

With 324 critic reviews accounted for, the Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker Rotten Tomatoes score sits at a “Rotten” 58%.

The Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score is just the opposite, coming in at 86% with over 10.8k reviews from fans.

The numbers were opposite for The Last Jedi, as critics gave it a 91%, while fans didn’t like it with a 43%; The Force Awakens came in at 93% from critics, with fans giving it an 86%.

I tend to side with the critics on this one as my review for Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker gives it around 5 out of 10 stars as I wasn’t at all happy with the end.

Star Wars Rise of Skywalker fans critics

Fans like Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

“The story was terrific and I enjoyed how the writers tied up the saga.”

“For a lifelong Star Wars fan, a lot of nostalgia was included which was awesome. My favorite of the ‘new’ movies!”

“I think was very well done, not perfect nor my favorite, but I felt very satisfied. JJ Abrams restored balance to the force. Can’t wait to see it again!!!”

“This movie included old and new characters and their enemies, incredible fight scenes and locations. Had us experience laughter, surprise, shock, tears and reconciliation. There’s a definitive group of characters that would be solid core should this series be started under a new title, and if it does, we’ll be there to watch it. Five Stars for time well spent.”

“Fixed a lot of what drove me crazy about The Last Jedi in the best way possible, and was a fitting end to the first Star Wars trilogy that has really hooked me from the beginning.”

“For context, I absolutely hated TLJ. But TROS is amazing – so much so that it fixed some of the issues I had with TLJ. Ignore the critics. In fact, go look at the disparity on RT between the critics and fans with TLJ and TROS. A lot of critics out there obviously don’t get Star Wars. JJ Abrams gets it. And for that and saving this new trilogy, I’ll defend Abrams forever.”

“It was the perfect wrap-up to the whole Star Wars saga that began with A New Hope…. The actions sequences were good, it was WONDERFUL to see Carrie Fisher for one last time, the few new characters added to the story.”

“Don’t listen to the critics the movie was so amazing, so many feels.”

“OMG THAT WAS EPIC!!! The best ever! What did I like about it…EVERYTHING! What didn’t I like about it…NOTHING!!! I’m speechless, just WOW! Go watch this NOW!!!”

“It had a lot to make up for with TLJ being so bad. JJ Abrams made solid efforts to fix the damage, but had to pack a lot into a short film, which left some desire for more development in new characters, and even some of the returning characters like Palpatine.”

“It was a good Star Wars movie, they didn’t really take any chances but gave people mostly what they wanted and did some good fixes for the Last Jedi.”
