Star Wars Empire Magazine Covers: Kylo Ren vs Rey

It’s the light versus the dark in three covers released for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker that grace Empire Magazine.

The covers feature a look at Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as Rey, and the two paired together, with one lightsaber pointing to the above and one to the below.

Kylo Ren sports his crossguard lightsaber in one cover, while Rey has her Skywalker lightsaber in a second; the third cover is the exclusive subscriber cover.

Details for the November 2019 issue include interviews and articles with director J.J. Abrams, co-writer Chris Terrio, the president of LucasFilm, Kathleen Kennedy, and more, as they discuss bringing the saga home and the follow up to Star Wars: The Last Jedi
