Star Trek: Lower Decks Trailer Is Awful; Comments, Dislikes Shut Down

CBS All Access released the first trailer for its Star Trek: Lower Decks animated series, which has seen YouTube shut down the comments section as well as the number of likes and dislikes.

The trailer shows a goofy parodic take on Star Trek that makes fun of the franchise and its fans with all kinds of bad jokes, awful humor, and even nudity, which is a bastardized take on the original concepts created by Gene Roddenberry.

Prior to YouTube and CBS All Access shutting down the comments and ratings, as of about five hours ago when the trailer was released, it had the same number of likes to dislikes: 2.4k to 2.4k.

We can guess that the dislikes skyrocketed, which is the reason CBS Access shut them down, and obviously, the comments were more negative as well.

Rumors from back in February offer that the Star Trek franchise is a complete disaster, which this new trailer further corroborates.

Coupled with the so so Discovery, the awful Picard show, and this awful take on the animated series, hopefully, the leaks are correct and ViacomCBS may be trying to fix things.

It’s amazing how some of the so-called fans and Star Trek fan sites shill for this garbage.
