Spider-Man: Homecoming Spideymobile Set Video May Suggest Tinkerer

New set footage out of Atlanta has hit the net where we see the “Spideymobile” in action for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

A user on Twitter recorded a scene where Spider-Man can be seen driving a convertible.

Users on Reddit suggest that Spider-Man may have stolen borrowed Tony Stark’s car. In addition, it’s doesn’t look like Peter Parker even has a driver’s license as he’s 15-years-old (may have a permit).

The Spideymobile looks to be an Audi convertible as Marvel partners with Audi for vehicles in their various movies. In Captain America: Civil War, a 2017 Audi R8 V10 plus Coupe, a 2017 Audi SQ7, a 2017 A4 and a 2016 A7 Sportback were used.

In the comics, Spider-Man agrees to drive the Spideymobile to help pay the bills when he’s approached by an advertising firm to promote a non-polluting car. The Human Torch helps Spider-Man build the Spideymobile, and when Spider-Man takes it out for a spin, he ends up capturing Hammerhead’s thugs. Eventually, the Spideymobile leads Spider-Man into a confrontation with the Tinkerer, who interestingly enough has been said to be another villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
