'Scott Pilgrim Anime 'Netflix Teaser Shows Off First Look

Netflix has released a first-look teaser at the upcoming Scott Pilgrim anime which follows the original cult classic live-action movie from 2010.

The cast from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World returns for the anime and includes Michael Cera returning as the titular character, Mary Elizabeth Winstead back as Ramona Flowers, Brie Larson as Envy Adams, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Brandon Routh as Todd Ingram, and more.

“Here’s a first look at the Scott Pilgrim Anime coming to Netflix November 17th add it to your list today,” teases Netflix.

Cast returns for Scott Pilgrim the Anime

The anime is created, written, and executive produced by Bryan Lee O’Malley who created the graphic novels, and Ben David Grabinski.

The cast also includes Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Anna Kendrick as Stacey Pilgrim, Alison Pill as Kim Pine, Aubrey Plaza as Julie Powers, Johnny Simmons as Young Neil, Satya Bhabha as Matthew Patel, Mark Webber as Stephen Stills, Ellen Wong as Knives Chau, Jason Schwartzman as Gideon Graves, and Mae Whitman as the Evil Exes.

The director of the original movie, Edgar Wright, is also on board the Netflix anime as an executive producer.

“Luckily, the Scott Pilgrim cast became a close-knit family and friendships were forged for life,” Wright told Netflix back in March. “There — to this day — is still a group email with the entire cast on it, that’s been going since 2010. I was happy to be able to reach out to everyone with the news that we had finally come up with a way to continue the adventure. Seeing (and hearing) everyone come back to their roles has been a true pleasure.”

Scott Pilgrim The Anime will also feature original songs by Anamanaguchi who did the music for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game.
