A new rumor claims Disney’s Snow White movie starring Rachel Zegler is still a big mess following massive reshoots.

Despite being completed, Disney delayed the release of Show White buy an entire year and reportedly canceled plans to release the trailer.

Originally, the flick was supposed to get released on March 22 but will now be released March 21, 2025.

Disney has also recently gotten rid of the exec that was the head of its live-action films, which follows big busts including the live-action Little Mermaid.

Rachel Zegler has also found herself in the hot seat with fans following her controversial comments about Show White, which she has since backtracked on.

What does the new rumor say?

So adding everything up, yep, it seems as if there are big problems with Snow White.

Following rumor by Daniel RPK who claimed Disney is doing something different with the poison apple in the film and stating “the film was also praised for being great,” the EmpireCity Box Office Twitter account shot those claims down.

“I actually can refute this @DanielRPK report. As I said months ago that it was in trouble before they moved it back a year, it actually is testing poorly and those involved don’t have much hope for it. The film is a mess and not working despite reshoots,” states the account.

What did Rachel Zegler say?

Regarding what Rachel Zegler said about Snow White, in various interviews, she said she was scared and terrified of it, that Prince Charming is a stalker, and that it’s weird:

“I was scared of the original version. I think I watched it once and never picked it up again. I’m being so serious. I watched it once, and then I went on the ride in Disney World, which was called ‘Snow White’s Scary Adventures.’ Doesn’t sound like something a little kid would like. I was terrified of it, never revisited Snow White again.”

“The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird! So we didn’t do that this time.”

– “We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie. All of [Andrew Burnap’s] scenes could get cut, who knows? It’s Hollywood, baby!”

I just mean that it’s no longer 1937. She’s not going to be dreaming about true love, she’s going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be.”
