Marvel Zombies: Ms. Marvel Lead Of Show Not Blade

The upcoming Marvel Zombies animated series coming to Disney+ is said to have Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel as the lead of the show and not Blade.

Vellani previously said her character, Ms. Marvel, is the focus of Marvel Zombies (more on that below).

The series will consist of four episodes and spins off from What If…? Season 1 which introduced the Marvel Zombies. No release date has been announced as of yet.

What is said about Marvel Zombies?

According to a Twitter user who tweets scoops, a fan remarked that Blade is the lead of the Marvel Zombies show.

What did Iman Vellani say about Marvel Zombies?

“We’ve done the whole thing. It was amazing. It was so much fun. And I love—there are a lot of cool characters in the Marvel Zombies show. And Kamala is kind of the center of the show. They described it to me, it’s like, ‘She’s basically the Frodo of the story.’ And I was like, ‘That’s amazing,’” she previously told The Direct.

Vellani continued that Kamala Khan gets to be featured with really cool people.

“And I get to interact and meet all these people along her journey. And, yes, they’re only the voices, and I don’t get to hear their voices in real-time. But just, it’s my fantasies, right? Like, knowing Kamala is going to interact with some really cool people, even if it’s just animation, is so special in a lot of ways,” she said.

Ms. Marvel is a massive misfire with fans

Fitting with how Kevin Feige has given Ms. Marvel everything under the sun and more in the MCU, it’s my guess that Ms. Marvel is the focus of the show because she’s immune from the zombie virus.

So Blade who has experience fighting evil and the supernatural – and who happens to be half dead himself (vampire) – won’t be the leader, but it will be the no-experienced Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel? Not a surprise if you watched the end of What If…? Season 2 and the past five years of the MCU.

Feige has made Ms. Marvel to be the MCU’s first mutant, cosmic, magical, possibly an Inhuman as well, has the Nega Bands, the Quantum-Bands, and I can’t even keep track of anything else. It’s hilarious how desperate they are to sell this character to the fans.

Iman Vellani starred in the Ms. Marvel series on Disney+ which is the least-watched MCU show on the streamer. Vellani also starred with Brie Larson in The Marvels, the sequel to the billion dollar Captain Marvel movie, which bombed at the box office and is the worst-performing superhero movie of all time. Disney lost $200 million on the film.
