No Wolverine and Deadpool Movie Says Hugh Jackman

Ryan Reynolds has stated that he wants to do a Deadpool and Wolverine movie with Hugh Jackman.

During a Facebook Live Q&A for Logan along with director James Mangold and Patrick Stewart, a fan asked Hugh Jackman about the Deadpool and Wolverine movie, which saw Jackman state he isn’t going to do it.

Question: Hugh, would you ever consider teaming up with Deadpool?

Mangold: Now that’s a new question, I’ve never heard that one before.

Jackman: Not heard that one. Deadpool is the other mutant?

Mangold: It’s Green Lantern in a different outfit.

Jackman: No, and Ryan is currently sleeping outside my house. There’s a little picket fence going on there.

Look, if that movie had appeared ten years ago, it’d be a totally different story, but I knew two-and-a-half years ago that this was the last one. The first call I made was to Jim [Mangold]. I said, ‘Jim, I got one more shot at this.’ As soon Jim came up with idea and we worked on it, I was never more excited. But it feels like the right time. Deadpool, man, go for it. Do your thing. You don’t need me.
