Disney has dropped yet another new trailer for Tron: Ares, this time focused on legacy and connection — both digital and human.
Titled “Flynn Lives,” the trailer calls back to Jeff Bridges’ original character, Kevin Flynn, and continues the momentum toward the film’s October 10 IMAX release.
Watch the trailer below.

Flynn’s Legacy Echoes Through Ares
The new spot opens with a nostalgic voiceover by Jeff Bridges: “The Grid. A digital frontier. A world I thought I’d never see. And then one day, I got in.”
Scenes show iconic elements of the Tron universe — disc battles, light cycle races, and shimmering neon landscapes — mixed with new visuals of Ares in the real world. The return of the classic Tron aesthetic suggests Kevin Flynn’s presence or influence may still be felt, even if his fate remains unclear.
Ares Continues to Cross Over
Jared Leto’s Ares is again featured as the powerful, sentient Program entering the real world. Flynn says, “Our worlds are more connected than anyone knows,” and Gillian Anderson‘s character warns, “If you think you’re in control of this, you’re not.”
Leto’s Ares himself states, “My world is coming to destroy yours.”
Soundtrack and Release Info
The spot again features the new Nine Inch Nails track “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” which was released as the first single from the upcoming Tron: Ares soundtrack, due out September 19. The full score is composed by the band, marking their first release under the Nine Inch Nails name in five years.
Tron: Ares is rated PG-13 and will be released exclusively in theaters and IMAX on October 10.
