It’s learned Chadwick Boseman has signed a five-picture deal with Marvel.

Team Iron Man

Black Widow:Ā Wait, what? Black Widow fighting against Captain America? Yep, Steve’s long-time ally is going rogue inĀ Civil War,Ā siding with Tony Stark over the registration act.Ā ā€œShe’s trying to pick up the pieces of her life,ā€ says Scarlett Johansson. This is going to be messy.

Black Panther:Ā After thatĀ Avengers: Age of UltronĀ Easter EGg placed Black Panther in Wakanda, the clawed hero debuts inĀ Civil War.Ā ā€œWe needed fresh eyes, [somebody] who wasn’t embedded with the Avengers,ā€ Marvel honcho Kevin Feige has said of introducing Panther at this point in the story, and with Chadwick Boseman (Get On Up) signed up for a five-picture deal with Marvel, he’ll be around a while.

War Hammer (War Machine):Ā Old Shellhead’s greatest ally, War Hammer (Don Cheadle) looks to get into a spot of bother inĀ Civil War – the film’s trailer shows his pulverised body being cradled by a disraught Stark. Could this be the end of the line?

Team Captain America

Ant-Man:Ā After his brush with Falcon (Anthony Mackie) inĀ Ant-Man,Ā Scott Lang (Paul Lang) is entering the Avengers fray for good, and it seems he and Falcon have patched things up between films, as Marvel’s tiniest hero is siding with Caps.Ā ā€œIt’s been a surreal ride so far,ā€ says Rudd of joining the superhero stable.Ā ā€œIt’s really only just startingā€¦ā€

The Winter Soldier:Ā Last seen in the post-creditsĀ Ant-ManĀ sting, he may have been trying to kill Cap inĀ The Winter Soldier, but now that he’s recovered his memories, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) is back on side – possibly.Ā ā€œYou’re always trying to guess what side he is on… because he can go both ways,ā€ Stan teases.

ā€œCaptain America: Civil Warā€ has Ā a May 6, 2016 release date directed by Anthony and Joe Russo starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Emily VanCamp, William Hurt, Martin Freeman and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

Synopsis:

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
