‘MultiVersus’ Reveals Batman and Superman Gameplay Footage

Following the release of the trailer, check out Batman and Superman and more in action in gameplay footage for the new MultiVersus all-new free-to-play, platform fighter videogame made up of Warner Bros. characters from the Multiverse.

Game Informer got to test out the closed alpha where they offer the game “just might be a contender” and the reviewer is “impressed with what I’ve played so far.”

“The cast is great so far, and each character brings unique gameplay and mechanics to the fray. It’s apparent in the star-studded voice cast (Kevin Conroy as Batman, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Maizie Williams as Arya) and detailed animations that plenty of care was put into implementing these beloved icons of their franchises into the game and doing them justice,” says the review.

MultiVersus features an ever-expanding cast of iconic characters and legendary universes, also including Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Iron Giant, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, Steven Universe, and lots more, in multiple online modes, including a team-based 2 vs. 2 format, 1 vs. 1 matches and 4-player free-for-all, along with upcoming content-filled seasons. As the worldwide release approaches later this year, more modes will be revealed as part of the game’s ongoing content updates.

The stellar voice cast and roster includes the legendary Kevin Conroy as Batman, George Newbern as Superman, Abby Trott as Wonder Woman, Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Kate Mucucci as Vemla, Eric Bauza as Buggs Bunny, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, John DiMaggio as Adventure Times’ Jake the Dog, Jeremy Shada as Finn the Human, Daniel DiVenere as Steven Universe, Estelle as Garnet, Tom & Jerry voiced by Eric Bauza, Jim Cummings as the Tasmanian Devil, and Jon Lipow as the Iron Giant. Many more characters will also be continually added to the game.
