Sony Pictures has picked up Daniel Kunka’s (12 Rounds) script for “Agent OX,” which is described as a “story [that] follows a human spy living on an alien planet who must stop an invasion of Earth.”
Joe Cornish and Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World) premiered their alien comedy, Attack The Block, at the SXSW.
Martin Sheen, who plays Uncle Ben in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man, spoke with TotalFilm.com and shared some kind words on fellow actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.
Now this is the best looking image I’ve seen to come out of the X-Men: First Class movie!

We’ve heard a few names mentioned in regards to playing Lois Lane in the upcoming Zack Snyder directed Superman, now we can add another to the list.
A few days ago we heard that the Mexican-born film maker, Guillermo del Toro, would be directing a new monster invasion flick, Pacific Rim, from Legendary Pictures written by Travis Beacham [Clash of the Titans (2010)] .

In January, we heard rumor (“Disc Roars“) of footage on the Tron: Legacy Blu-Ray set that was said to be a trailer for “Tron 3.”

Bradley Cooper was in contention to play Hal Jordan in the upcoming Green Lantern movie, but was beat out by Ryan Reynolds.
ObsessedWithFilm.com asked the actor if he would be interested at all in playing The Flash.
It was reported that Cooper was in the lead for the role of Barry Allen as Marc Guggenheim, Michael Green and Greg Berlanti have worked on the story with Guggenheim and Berlanti on the script.
The actor responded reluctantly with:
“Well I auditioned for the The Green Lantern and didn’t get it so I’m reluctant to put on the cape again.â€
Cooper is currently starring in the sci-fi move Limitless with Robert DeNiro that sees a former cocaine-addict who discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities.

Here are some behind the scenes images from the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007).
Images come via Doug Jones, who portrayed the Sentinel of the Spaceways.
The first six feature a test of Doug Jones getting make-up applied, two images how they did some of the Surfer’s movements, The Thing (Michael Chilkis) getting touched up, a double of Doom, and the sixth with Chris Evans as “Johnny Thing.”
I always thought this movie was pretty awesome and felt Jones did the Surfer well. It actually never bothered me that they didn’t show Galactus – I suppose you could argue that his silhouette appeared over the rings of Saturn (if I recall, correctly).
I wasn’t a big fan of Jessica Alba as the Invisible Woman or Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, not that the acting really mattered all that much.
Still – it was a fun movie!

Judging by the sheer number of leaks and rumors associated with Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises – it’s going to be the biggest movie to hit in 2012 — no surprise to fans of the previous two.
The opening Broadway production of “Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark,” which has seen a plethora of delays and problems, has been delayed until Tuesday June 14th.
The film rights to “RASL,” the black and white sci-fi noir comic book from Bone creator Jeff Smith, was picked up by Wingram Productions Deadline reports.
