Mortal Kombat 2: First Look At Karl Urban As Johnny Cage

The Mortal Kombat 2 trailer could be coming soon as it looks as if marketing has officially kicked off for the sequel.

Creator of the franchise, Ed Boon, tweeted out two posters on X, one with a first look at Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and another of the logo teasing Mortal Kombat 2 is coming soon.

In MK lore, Johnny Cage is a popular Hollywood actor, so the poster reflects that by offering it’s a poster for Cage’s “Uncaged Fury,” the sequel to “Rebel Without A Cage.”

“Has anyone seen that cult classic action movie UNCAGED FURY? It has aged surprisingly well….,” said Boon, adding in a separate tweet, “Mortal Kombat 2 Movie! I had to make a slight korrection. Koming Soon!”
