The Batman now officially has a composer as Michael Giacchino will be creating the music for director Matt Reeves.
As seen in the video below, Giacchino and Reeves hug each other confirming the news, as the pair previously teamed up for War for the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Michael Giacchino is also known for a plethora of other works including the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies, the MCU Spider-Man films, Doctor Strange, Jurassic World, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and more.

The Batman films start of next year
Details for The Batman include that it will begin filming at the start of next year for its June 25, 2021 release starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, with Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Zoe Kravtiz as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, with Penguin and additional characters yet to be cast.
The co-writer of the movie recently teased a World’s Greatest Detective story for the film, with rumors offering it will be adapting the DC Comics “The Long Halloween” storyline as it explores a detective case where people start dying in strange ways so Batman must go deep into the dark world of Gotham City to find the clues and solve the mystery/conspiracy connected to Gotham City’s history and criminals.
