Kevin Feige Confirms Richard Rider Nova TV Series For MCU

Cross your fingers, Marvel Cosmic, fans! Because it is critical you pay attention at this time!

Head of Marvel, Kevin Feige, has confirmed Richard Rider is coming to the MCU in the form of a TV series.

That’s not all as Feige says the Nova series is still a ways off.

What does Kevin Feige say about Nova?

Feige spoke with CB.com who asked what was happening with Nova.

Feige confirmed, “It’s happening, it’s coming together. Richard Rider, yep.”

The site pressed Feige if it was going to be either a movie or a TV show, which saw Feige add, “A show, yeah, yeah.”

Feige also revealed when Nova will be hitting the small screen.

“It’s three or four years out,” said Feige.

The news follows Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Studios TV, Streaming, and Animation, recently name-dropping Richard Rider.

“I love Nova, also, from the comics, especially the Richard Rider era… we’ll see what happens,” he teased.

So Nova being three to four years out likely puts the series after Avengers: Secret Wars which gets released on May 7, 2027.

Matt McGloin on the fence

I’ll be honest, I’m on the fence about what Marvel and Feige will do with Nova because of how badly they’ve ruined the past five years of the MCU and disrespected the characters, the fans, the creators, and the source material.

Plus it’s on Disney+ which likely means it will have a low budget. I don’t think Disney is throwing $200 million into their shows anymore now that it’s been a $4 billion loss for them.

Marvel and Feige have a lot to prove. Fantastic Four doesn’t sound promising. Maybe they’ll surprise me as it’s still a ways off. And if we hear the woke version is involved, it’s DOA.

I also won’t be shilling for the series simply because I like Nova. If anything, because I like the character so much, I want it to be the best that it should be. I’m not settling for mediocrity. Wake up Nova fans.
