Joss Whedon Not Looking For Batgirl Easter Eggs

Joss Whedon talks more about casting for his DCEU Batgirl movie.

Whedon, who directed both Avengers movies for Marvel, attended the recent Red Carpet premiere for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 where he received questioning about Batgirl.

Joss  Whedon previously let it be known that he wasn’t looking at casting as of yet and also that a big-named Hollywood actress might not get the Batgirl gig.

ComicBook.com also points out that while on the Red Carpet, Whedon was also asked about the possibility of using Alicia Silverstone in Batgirl as an Easter Egg as Silverstone played the character in the 1997 movie Batman & Robin.

“It hasn’t crossed my mind. I’m not against it, but I’m not looking for Easter eggs – I’m still trying to write a movie,” Whedon said.

I think it is a little too early to be questioning Joss Whedon about Easter Eggs in Batgirl, but who would you want to see cast as Barbara Gordon Batgirl?

Joss Whedon also said he is currently writing the dialogue for Batgirl.
