WWE and John Cena fans will get one last chance to see the 17-time World Champion in the ring. Cena’s final WWE match will headline Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Cena’s Career Closes in D.C.
After a year-long farewell tour that included appearances at WrestleMania 41 and SummerSlam, Cena will wrap up his career in the nation’s capital. His run includes 17 World Championship wins, five U.S. title reigns, and two Royal Rumble victories, making him one of the most decorated names in WWE history.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque said Cena’s impact can’t be overstated and called the D.C. event a fitting send-off for both the superstar and the fans.
“John’s contributions to WWE are immeasurable. There are no words that can truly relay how much he means to this business,” said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. “Together with our partners at Events DC and Capital One Arena, we look forward to honoring his legacy and delivering an unforgettable send-off for both John and the WWE Universe.”
