Jason Momoa says goodbye to Game of Thrones, Aquaman, Frontier, and See as he posts a video on social media revealing that he is shaving off his beard in order to bring awareness to various social issues.
“Goodbye DROGO, AQUAMAN, DECLAN, BABA New YouTube episode please subscribe and share this video. LINK in BIO. I’m SHAVING this beast off, It’s time to make a change,” Jason Momoa posted on Instagram. “A change for the better…for my kids, your kids, the world. Let’s make a positive change for the health of our planet. Let’s clean up our oceans our land. Join me on this journey. Let’s make the switch to infinitely recyclable aluminum. Water in cans, not plastic.”
The video reveals Jason Momoa stating that he hasn’t shaved since 2012 and that he is doing it for awareness for the planet.
“I think I have a solution. I don’t want to b-tch about it. There is only one thing that can really help our planet and save our planet, as long as we recycle, and that’s aluminum,” he says.
To be clear, Jason Momoa isn’t leaving the Aquaman role, quite the opposite, as a sequel is already in the works. While Aquaman 2 is in its early stages, the flick does have a writer with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote the first movie. James Wan may also be back as director and will return as producer along with Peter Safran who also produced Shazam! The Aquaman franchise is also expanding with The Trench spinoff, which follows the deadly amphibious creatures seen attacking Arthur Curry and Mera in Aquaman.
