James Gunn’s Brightburn Gets R-Rating

James Gunn’s Brightburn Gets R-Rating

James Gunn’s evil version of Superman gets an R-rating as Brightburn contains “horror violence/bloody images, and language.”

The movie, which isn’t related to the Man of Steel or DC, offers: What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?

Check out the latest trailer and poster below, with an R-rating more than likely making the flick all the better.

Brightburn has a May 24, 2019 release directed by David Yarovesky, written by Mark Gunn & Brian Gunn, produced by James Gunn and Kenneth Huang, and executive produced by Mark Gunn, Brian Gunn, Dan Clifton, Simon Hatt, and Nic Crawley. The movie stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner.
