Invincible Season 2 Returns March 14

Invincible Season 2 returns to Amazon Prime Video on March 14, which marks the 21st anniversary of when Robert Kirkman first launched the comic book back on January 22, 2003.

The first four episodes of Season 2 were released in November along with the Invincible: Atom Eve Special that aired in the Summer. March 14 kicks off the remaining four episodes of Season 2.

“In the second half of Season 2, I’m sure Mark goes back to college, reads his father’s books, and has nothing eventful happen to him or his family…” teased the show’s social media.

What is Invincible Season 2 about?

Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season 1, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.

The show stars Steven Yeun (Mark Grayson/Invincible), J.K. Simmons (Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man), Sandra Oh (Debbie Grayson), Zazie Beetz (Amber Bennett), Grey DeLisle (Shrinking Rae), Chris Diamantopoulos (Doc Seismic), Walton Goggins (Cecil Stedman) Gillian Jacobs (Atom Eve), Jason Mantzoukas (Rex Splode), Ross Marquand (Immortal), Khary Payton (Black Samson), Zachary Quinto (Rudy Connors), Andrew Rannells (William Clockwell), Kevin Michael Richardson (Mauler Twins) and Seth Rogen (Allen the Alien).

Joining the Season 2 cast are Sterling K. Brown, Peter Cullen, Rob Delaney, Calista Flockhart, Phil LaMarr, Luke MacFarlane, Tatiana Maslany, Scott McNairy, Jay Pharoah, Ella Purnell, Tim Robinson, Ben Schwartz, Rhea Seehorn, Lea Thompson, Paul F. Tompkins, Shantel VanSanten, and more.
