True to the hackers’ words, Insomniac leaks have hit the net revealing Wolverine video game footage, as well as a roadmap that includes a Venom game and an X-Men game.
The hackers demanded a ransom of $2 million and told Insomniac they had a week to cough up either the dough or the amount in Bitcoin.
Well, the week is up and the leaks are out, so that means Insomniac didn’t pay the ransom.
The Wolverine footage looks to be in its early stages. Footage includes the game logo, gameplay, and the title screen, as well as the story and cast.
Characters said to be included are Leech, Davina, Tyger Tiger, Mystique, Callisto, Omega Red, Sunfire, Sabretooth, Nathaniel Essex aka Sinister, Sasquatch, and Deathstrike.
Liam McIntyre is listed as playing Wolverine, an Australian actor known for Spartacus, played Weather Wizard in The Flash, voices Aquaman and Johnny Quick in the upcoming Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One animated movie, and has video game experience having voiced characters in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Gears of War 4.
Regarding the leaked Roadmap, the leak reveals Insomniac indeed has plans for a Venom game for 2025; Wolverine is listed as getting released in 2026; Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 in 2028; Ratchet & Clank in 2029, X-Men game in 2030, and a new IP in 2031/2032.
