Original article continues:

The Avengers: Infinity War Rotten Tomatoes score is in!

And it comes in at (drum roll, please…) a lukewarm 88%?!

Woah!

Obviously 88% isn’t bad by any means, but it’s not a 96% like Black Panther.

Of the 105 reviews presently accounted for, 92 are Fresh to 13 being Rotten; the audience score will come in later this weekend.

The 88% Rotten Tomatoes score for The Avengers: Infinity War is more in line withĀ Doctor Strange (89%) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (89%).

The first Avengers movie netted a 92%, so Infinity War is still pretty close.

I see movies such as Spider-Man: Homecoming (92%), Guardians of the Galaxy (91%), Thor: Ragnarok (92%), and Civil War (91% ) all surpass Infinity War – movies I’m not a big fan of – so I’m not the least bit worried. Actually, I’m glad Infinity War didn’t get anĀ uber high Disney/Marvel Rotten Tomatoes score, as I find myself disagreeing with the aggregate score just about every time. Black Panther was average at best and it’s high RT score is laughable.Ā

I haven’t read any of the reviews, as I’m avoiding spoilers, but I’ll have my thoughts online late Thursday night.

Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. ā€œAvengers: Infinity Warā€ releases in U.S. theaters on April 27, 2018.
