Imaginext Reveals Exclusive NYCC DC Super Friends BatBot Xtreme

For the first time ever, the Imaginext team is heading to New York Comic Con with an action-packed show exclusive that brand fans and Batman lovers alike will not want to miss.

This October, Imaginext is bringing Batman fanatics into the world of Gotham City with a limited-edition version of their DC Super Friends Batbot Xtreme that will be available exclusively to NYCC attendees. Check out images of the incredible collectors’ version of the Batbot Xtreme below and a 360° look.

The Imaginext DC Super Friends Batbot Xtreme is a direct nod to 2015’s “Superheavy” Batman story arc in Batman #40 to Batman #46, during which Commissioner Gordon steps into the role of Batman using a special mechanical bat-suit after Bruce Wayne is presumed dead and can’t perform Batman’s duties. Batbot Xtreme truly takes the Batman robo-suit from the series and gives it a larger than life twist in the Imaginext style.

Coinciding with the upcoming 10-year anniversary of the Imaginext and DC Super Friends partnership, this limited edition Imaginext DC Super Friends Batbot Xtreme is painted in premium metallic for a more authentic and deluxe version of the ultimate Batman toy. Exclusive New York Comic Con packaging features lights and sounds built into a fully immersive Batcave experience, offering the perfect backdrop for your entire Batman collection. Just like the original version, the NYCC exclusive stands over 2-feet tall and features everything a child – or fanboy – could want, including huge bat wings (WHOOSH!) and controllable punching fists (POW!), projectile launchers (BAM!), a Batman voice changer, a multi-level playset, and of course a Batman figure and vehicle.

Fans looking to snag a NYCC exclusive Imaginext DC Super Friends Batbot Xtreme will have to act fast! Retailing for $250, Imaginext has only produced 300 copies of the collectors’ edition. Here’s how you can get one:

NYCC Exclusive Lottery – Launching on September 14; 225 limited edition Batbots will be up for grabs through the official NYCC lottery. Registering for the lottery will guarantee that you are able to purchase a Batbot during the show. Lottery purchased Batbots will be shipped to you, courtesy of Imaginext. Head to newyorkcomiccon.com to enter.

In-booth sales – Each day during NYCC, 10 additional Batbots will be sold on a first come, first serve basis that you can walk away with that day.

In-booth raffle – Each day, 1 limited edition Batbot will be raffled off to attendees who share a social post from the Imaginext booth. Visit booth #326 on the show floor for more details.

New York Comic Con will take place at the Javits Center in NYC on October 5-8, 2017. Don’t worry; if you are unable to get your hands on the NYCC exclusive, you can still find the original Batbot Xtreme now at Toys R Us, Target, and Amazon.com for $109.99.
