Hulk Hogan and Sylvester Stallone
(WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, April 2005)
Hulk Hogan is in talks for the villain role in The Exependables 4.
Hogan, who first informed the Hulkamaniacs of his planned invovement in the fourth film of the Expendables franchise over a year ago, recently participated in a Q&A in the UK where he let the news be known (via wrestlinginc).
“Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing The Expendables 4. We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break and he’s been a great friend for all these years … We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out.”
Hogan’s first break in Hollywood was portraying Thunderlips in Rocky III.
While Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, is known for his good-guy Hulk Hogan character in wrestling, in the 90s, Hogan took a heel turn donning the popular Hollywood Hogan persona that was a part of the NWO and WCW.
Hogan also stated in the QnA he will be involved with Wrestlemania 32 in hopes of breaking the attendance record at Arlington, Texas. The old WWE record of 93,173, which took place at Wrestelmania 3 and featured Hogan vs. Andre The Giant, was broken in 2010 by the NBA All-Star Game with 108,713.
