Prior to Hugh Jackman’s last time as Wolverine, fans got a taste of that berserker rage in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Director Bryan Singer has now posted a behind-the-scenes look at the scene.

“A little behind the scenes. The hardest working and kindest actor in all of Hollywood,” Singer posted on Instagram with the haghtags: #HughJackman #Wolverine #XMen #XMenApocalypse.

Hugh Jackman is currently filming his third and final untitled Wolverine movie.

Me and this cool dude. Taken at the end of February 2016 on set in Montreal when Mr. Jackman filmed his epic cameo for Xmen Apocalypse as Wolverine/Weapon X. Anyone who has not seen it yet better go this weekend or soon. Hugh is a truly awesome guy and incredibly genuine. A gentle giant who is gracious and funny. My creative and talented friend Bryan (@bryanjaysinger) picked him 17 years ago for this now incredibly iconic role. Hugh is very accessible though and so engaging and natural.
