The first Legendary Warbond for Helldivers 2 has been revealed, and it’s a crossover fans have been waiting for, which comes right in time with the game becoming available on Xbox.
Arrowhead is bringing Halo’s Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) into the fight with a full lineup of weapons, armor, and customization options inspired by the legendary Helljumpers.

Halo: ODST Gear Incoming
The Helldivers 2 x Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond lands on August 26 at 5am PT / 1pm BST across PS5 and PC.
Costing 1500 Super Credits, this new tier of Warbond introduces exclusive gear not available in previous drops.
Unlike Premium Warbonds, Legendary Warbonds won’t work with the new Token system launching the same day—so players will need to purchase directly.
Weapons
The ODST Warbond includes iconic Halo-inspired weapons redesigned for Helldivers 2’s battlefield:
- MA5C Assault Rifle – Classic Halo rifle with ammo counter and compass for reliable firepower.
- M6C/SOCOM Pistol – Standard ODST sidearm featuring suppressor support, flashlight, and laser sight.
- M90A Shotgun – Heavy-hitting shotgun with a mounted flashlight for close-quarters combat.
- M7S SMG – Suppressed SMG with caseless ammo for stealthier missions.
Armor
Players can suit up in new ODST-style armor sets, each with the Feet First passive perk: reduced noise from movement, 30% increased POI detection range, and immunity to leg injuries.
- A-9 Helljumper Armor Set – Classic ODST Lance Corporal look.
- A-35 Recon Armor Set – Stealthier design with recon-inspired headgear.
Capes and Cosmetics
The Legendary Warbond also includes ODST-themed capes and customization:
- Honored Heirloom – Cape emblazoned with the ODST logo.
- Eye of the Clandestine – Stealth-themed cape for covert operations.
- Player cards, a new player title, and the Mean Green vehicle pattern for hellpods, shuttles, exosuits, and FRVs.
A Long-Requested Crossover
This marks Helldivers 2’s first Legendary Warbond, expanding beyond Premium tiers and paying tribute to Halo’s most iconic unit. Arrowhead says it’s “packed with details that fans will love to discover.”
The crossover has been described as the most ambitious Warbond yet, giving players a chance to channel the Obedient Democracy Support Troopers and bring Halo’s Helljumpers spirit into the galaxy-wide fight for Managed Democracy.
Helldivers 2 Launches on Xbox with Halo Crossover
Helldivers 2 will officially arrive on Xbox Series X|S on August 26, 2025, the same day the Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond drops. This marks the game’s debut on Microsoft’s consoles and a rare move by Sony, bringing one of its biggest live-service titles to a rival platform.
The Xbox launch isn’t just about expanding platforms—it lines up perfectly with the Halo crossover, giving Xbox players instant access to ODST-themed gear on day one. The collaboration includes Halo-inspired weapons, armor sets, and cosmetics, making the crossover a centerpiece of the Xbox release.
Full cross-play between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC is also confirmed, meaning squads can drop in together across all platforms as the galactic war expands.
