Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Script Turned In

James Gunn has finished his draft of the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 script and turned it into Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios.

“Every bit of my heart,” James Gunn posted on Twitter with the cover sheet of the script.

Kevin Feige also told Collider:”[Writer/director] James [Gunn] has delivered a draft and we begin official pre-production on that very, very soon. It’ll be shooting early next year. Captain Marvel finishes in about two weeks, Spider-Man [Far From Home] starts in about two weeks, and then Guardians 3 will start early next year.”

James Gunn also recently revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 takes place following The Avengers 4, so as they film, it will be interesting to see if any set pics or images hit the net revealing surviving characters. Chris Pratt did state he will be back for Guardians of the Galaxy 3 along with Mantis-actress Pom Klementieff, and Dave Bautista said he will be back as Drax.

Gunn also stated Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will be the last iteration of the current team.

The movie will be released in 2020.
