Gotham‘s budding Dark Knight wants to play the son of Batman in the DCEU!
16-year-old David Mazouz took to Twitter to comment on fan art of himself as Batman’s son, Damian Wayne, and offered up a “#davidfordamian” hashtag asking fans for a retweet to promote the possibility.
I mean if DCEU is casting… #davidfordamian RT if you promote pic.twitter.com/HiLLH0M3HI

In the comics, Damian Wayne is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul–and hence the grandson of Batman villain Ra’s Al Ghul! Damian was trained to kill at a young age by the League of Assassins, which puts him at odds with his father, the Batman, who refuses to kill. Damian Wayne eventually takes up the role of Robin at the young age of 10.
It’s unknown if there are plans for Damian Wayne in the DCEU, but with the present Batman played by Ben Affleck being an older version, it’s definitely a possiblility that Damian Wayne could exist somewhere out in the Justice League movie universe.
It could also be possible that WB might use Damian Wayne as part of their new standalone DC movie brand, which isn’t a part of DCEU continuity, and create a solo Damian Wayne flick.
David Mazouz returns with Gotham Season 4 on Thursday, September 21st 8pm ET on FOX.
