Fantastic Four Casts Cobra Kai’s Paul Walter Hauser

Fantastic Four Casts Cobra Kai’s Paul Walter Hauser

Welcome actor Paul Walter Hauser to the MCU as he joins Marvel’s Fantastic Four movie that is set to go into production soon and stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.

Hauser joins the recent casting of Julia Warner as the MCU’s version of the Silver Surfer.

I could see Paul Walter Hauser playing Mole Man? Voicing HERBIE? Maybe Doctor Doom.

Paul Walter Hauser is known for a plethora of projects including Kingdom, I, Tonya, Reno 911!, Black Bird, and he plays Ramond ‘Stingray’ Porter in Netflix’s Cobra Kai series.

He also played in role in an episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia directed by FF director Matt Shakman.

It was also recently announced that Hauser has been cast in the Naked Gun reboot in the role of Captain Ed, which also stars Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson and Kevin Durand, and Hauser is set to play Chris Farley in a biopic.

Very different to other Marvel films

Fantastic Four gets released on July 25, 2025.

Joseph Quinn recently said the film will be different than Marvel films.

“I think that with the story of the Fantastic Four, it feels like we want to get this right,” Quinn said. “There are aspects of it that are very different to other Marvel films. That felt very compelling to me. And again, going back to who’s involved, Matt, of course, the director, I think is brilliant, and the cast, and I’ve read it and the script is brilliant. It’s really brilliant. I’m delighted to have this opportunity.”

He added “Superhero movies are movies about people. And if we’re invested in the people and the characters and the peril and the spectacle, then that’s why people go to the theaters to watch films. We’re not just in a penny; we’re in for a pound with this one. We’re going to go for it.”
