Doctor Strange’s Scott Derrickson Saw 40 Minutes of Logan

Last week Fox Studios held a 40-minute preview for the new Wolverine movie, Logan.

Twitter users stated the footage was pretty awesome, and now Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson offers up it may be the best X-Men movie ever.

“Just saw the first 40 minutes of James Mangold’s LOGAN and it’s f—ing fantastic,” Derrickson posted. “Now expecting this to be the best X-Men movie.”

Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange isn’t too shabby as well as it’s near $650 million at the box office and is Marvel’s ninth best movie overall.

Logan marks the last time we’ll see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (well, maybe not) as it’s set in the future and in part based on the Old Man Logan comic book. Details known about the third Wolverine movie include that Logan is older, Wolverine’s abilities aren’t what they once were, and that Logan uses alcohol to deal with his pain. Characters confirmed for Logan include X-23, Donald Pierce, Caliban and Dr. Zander Rice. Logan will also be the last X-Men movie for Patrick Stewart who returns at Professor X.

“Logan,” has a March 3, 2017 release directed by James Mangold starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant, Doris Morgado,  Eriq La Salle and Dafne Keen as X-23.
