Check out the new poster featuring Fred Savage for Once Upon A Deadpool, the PG-13 version of the sequel coming to theaters for a limited time in December.
Ryan Reynolds posted the poster on Twitter with, “The only F word in this movie is Fred Aaron Savage.”
Details for Once Upon A Deadpool include that it gets released December 12 through Christmas Eve, and that every dollar of ticket sales goes to the Fudge Cancer charity.
“Because it’s the season of giving, we will also be giving $1 for every ticket sold to F-ck Cancer, which will be renamed Fudge Cancer just for this limited time and campaign,” Ryan Reynolds said in the announcement.
While Once Upon A Deadpool will be cut down to make the R-rated version cleaner for PG-13 audiences, it will have eight scenes that were filmed which will be used as interstitial additions to the existing sequel’s footage.
“Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006. I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining…” Reynolds previously said.
