The upcoming DC Universe app is only launching in the United States, much to the displeasure of fans all over the world, but may be made available on Netflix international.
While I don’t believe DC has explained the reason for only the U.S. launch, it could be more or less a test to see how things work prior to making the DC Universe app available worldwide (just think of the server load).
The good news is that a new rumor hits the net from a Twitter user who claims to have sources in the know that WB may actually let their DC Universe series be available on Netflix international.

Going the Netflix international route is interesting as obviously WB and Netflix would come to some sort of mutual deal, but as it is the internet, there are ways around it for U.S. costumers simply by using a free VPN that lets you change your IP address to any country you want. More than likely only a few fans will do that, but it is a concern for WB as many fans could skip out on subscribing.
Of course, I’m also guessing that the shows might air first on the DC Universe streaming app prior to Netflix international, but of course then there is always the pirates to be worried about.
How about you just make the DC Universe app available for everyone, WB?
