Dafne Keen and Samantha Lorraine lead the cast of Night Comes, a new survival horror thriller that is being shopped around this week at the American Film Market (AFM).
Directed by Jay Hernandez in his feature directorial debut, Night Comes is set in a world facing a cataclysmic event that could spell the end of humanity.
Keen and Lorraine play sisters who survive the initial disaster but find themselves on a mission critical to the fate of mankind.
Keen, fresh off her role as Laura (X-23) in Deadpool & Wolverine, brings her intense action and survival experience from films like Logan and Star Wars: The Acolyte to this thriller.
Samantha Lorraine, known for You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, joins Keen in the role of her sister. Also joining the cast is Alexander Ludwig of Vikings fame, adding a familiar face for action and thriller fans.
Produced by Shaun Redick and Yvette Yates Redick (Get Out, BlacKkKlansman) along with Big Picture Cinema Group’s Jayce Barriero and Jacky Lai, Night Comes is a collaboration that promises to deliver tension and suspense.
The screenplay was crafted by Hernandez, Nancy Isaak, and Jason Bourque, with worldwide sales being managed by The Exchange and Impossible Dream Entertainment at AFM.
