The CW Developing New DC TV Series Project 13

The CW DC Project 13

It’s learned The CW is developing another DC Comics TV series with Project 13.

Variety reports Elizabeth Banks is on board Project 13 as a producer, which is a one-hour drama centering on Traci, a twenty-something forensic scientist and believer in the paranormal who discovers her own hidden extra-sensory abilities when she joins her estranged, skeptic father to investigate mysterious cases of the paranormal and unexplained phenomena.

Both characters have appeared in the DC Comics: Dr. Terry Thirteen, AKA the Ghost-Breaker, is a paranormal investigator who initially did not believe in anything supernatural and wanted expose them as hoaxes. He is also the father of the sorceress Traci 13.

In the recent New 52 comics, Doctor 13 is a conspiracy theorist actively embracing and investigating the supernatural who often butts heads with the Phantom Stranger.

Doctor 13 was created in 1951 appearing first in Star Spangled Comics #122.

Assuming Project 13 gets picked up by The CW, the series joins a long list of DC series at the network including Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, iZombie, the upcoming Black Lighting, and the new animated Constantine series on The CW Seed digital network.

DC also has Gotham and Lucifer on FOX .
