Creature Commandos Season 2 Characters Revealed

Thanks to the season finale, James Gunn gives us a look at the Creature Commandos Season 2 characters.

Without getting too heavy into the spoilers, the season finale sees The Bride back at Belle Reve. For saving the day, Waller converts one of the abandoned wings into the “Non-Human Internment Division” for her and her team.

Gunn filled in Rotten Tomatoes:

“Nosferata, King Shark – who we met in The Suicide Squad so it’s basically that King Shark – The Bride, of course. A new and improved G.I. Robot; he’s not dead after all, he’s a robot. Khalis…we’ve got a mummy happening. I’m pretty interested in how we do a mummy. I’ve never been a big mummy guy. I’m a werewolf guy, to be honest with you. And Weasel, of course, and Phosphorus.”

  • Doctor Phosphorous (returning; voiced by Alan Tudyk)

James Gunn announces Creature Commandos Season 2

Gunn first announced Creature Commandos Season on Threads following episode four with a Christmas poster featuring Weasel and a press release:

“You wanted monsters? Well, you’re getting even more. We’re coming back for season two! But don’t worry, we’ve still got plenty left this season for you. Catch new episodes of Creature Commandos every Thursday, with the season one finale dropping January 9 exclusively on Max.”

Gunn and DC Studios co-chairman Peter Safran also said the following in a joint statement:

“We’re thrilled to team up with Max for another season of Creature Commandos mayhem. From our spectacular first season of Peacemaker to the astonishing run of The Penguin to the record-breaking launch of Creature Commandos, Max has consistently delivered above industry expectations and beyond our wildest imaginings. Thank you, Casey, Sarah, Pia, Sono and the entire team for your tremendous support of DC Studios. We are proud to call Max home.” 

Amy Gravitt, VP of HBO and Max comedy programming said:
