Neill Blomkamp Shows Off His Alien Pulse Rifle

Check out a peek at the new pulse rifle for Neill Blomkamp’s upcoming currently untitled Alien movie that is in development.

Blomkamp posted the pulse rifle on his Instagram adding: “We all knew there would be pulse rifles. Obviously. Now with added RIS.”

The pulse rifle was first used in James Cameron’s Aliens (pictured above) and has been used ever since in the various sequels, comics and video games.

RIS refers to Rail Integration System, which enables accessory attachment.

Blomkamp’s Alien movie may be released in 2017 with Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn said to be returning.
