Today at the Television Critics Association’s press tour saw a slew of announcements from the CW including that The Flash, Arrow and six other series were getting renewals, as well as a first look at Robbie Amell’s Firestorm costume, a trailer and premiere date for iZombie and a new Vixen animated series.
Now while speaking at the event, CW president Mark Pedowitz answered questions revealing that plans are underway for more spinoffs from The Flash and Arrow, as well as revealing more crossovers are coming.
THR was on had to report:
“Pedowitz said that he’s already in discussions about expanding the Arrow and Flash universe but declined to provide further details.”
Arrow and The Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti was then asked about a potential Atom (Brandon Routh) spinoff, in which he replied to reporters that they are in “very early talks on a very general idea.”
Cosmic Book News was also told back in June of last year that a Green Lantern spinoff/crossover with The Flash is underway.
Speaking of crossovers, Pedowitz said he has plans to make The Flash and Arrow crossovers an annual event for the fourth-quarter of every season.
