Jeremy Renner Suiting Up Today For Captain America: Civil War

[page_title]

Jeremy Renner was recently spotted on the Captain America 3 set in his civies (see below), and now Renner lets it be known he will be back today to suit up as Hawkeye for Civil War.

“Cap 3. Day 1. Time to suit up again ‪#‎civilwar‬ ‪#‎captainamerica‬ ‪#‎hawkeye‬ hope the seams hold up,” Renner posted on WhoSay.

Renner’s appearance in Captain America: Civil War follows Avengers: Age Of Ultron where Hawkeye seemingly retired; however, we obviously knew that wasn’t going to stick.

Renner appears to be joining Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen as part of the African – thought to be Wakanda – scene.

Yesterday also saw Robert Downey Jr. spotted on the Civil War set, but just as his regular ol’ RDJ self. It’s possible Robert Downey Jr. could suit up as well.

Update: Renner posted a second image of himself teasing Hawkeye and a new Captain America: Civil War logo.

“Captain America: Civil War” has  a May 6, 2016 release date directed by Anthony and Joe Russo starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Emily VanCamp, William Hurt, Martin Freeman and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

Synopsis:

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
