Chris Hemsworth recently finished filming The Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 movies, which marks the end of his Marvel Studios contract.
Last night while promoting his latest movie, 12 Strong, on Jimmy Kimmel, the Thor actor discussed potentially leaving Marvel.Â
âYeah, we shot most of last year in Atlanta back-to-back, and it was a long long shoot,â Hemsworth said and continued with mention of his thoughts about leaving joking about the Hulk. âThe first time I stop looking at the green tennis ball that represents the Hulk⊠The last couple of months it just felt like you wanted to get to the end and all of us were like âhow many more days are left, how many more daysâ, and this last week I was sitting there and as they wrapped me all of a sudden it sort of hit me like âoh wait a second. I didnât soak this up enough. I didnât kind of make the most of it, I didnât say goodbye to everyone or whatever.â Because weâve been doing this for seven years or something now, and itâs been a pleasure.â
Itâs currently unknown if Chris Hemsworth is really done playing Thor, as Hemsworth also said he would like to return for a Thor 4 and has talked about the possibility with director Taika Waititi.
