Celebs, Hollywood React, Meltdown Over Trump Victory

Following Donald J. Trump winning the 2024 presidential election in a landslide victory over Kamala Harris, various celebs and Hollywood are reacting and having a meltdown over the outcome.

Trump soundly defeated Harris with 292 electoral votes to Harris’s 226. He also is on track to win the popular vote with, currently, 71,962,206 votes to Harris’s 67,137,366. Harris has also phoned Trump and conceded. President Biden has also phoned and congratulated Trump and invited Trump to the White House.

How are the celebs and Hollywood reacting?

During the campaign and election, a large number of celebrities came out in support of Kamala Harris including Taylor Swift, Mark Hamill, Dave Bautista, Eminem, Geraldo Rivera, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Lawrence, Billie Eilish, Aubrey Plaza, George Clooney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Megan Thee Stallion, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mindy Kaling, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges, JJ Abrams, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Keaton, Stephen King, and more.

The liberal Hollywood trades also attacked Zachary Levi who came out in support of Trump.

Following the election, it’s learned Bette Midler has deleted her X account.

A number of celeb X accounts have also gone silent, particularly Star Wars actor Mark Hamill who has been a vocal proponent of Trump and whose last tweet on Nov. 5 said with a GIF: “TODAY’S THE DAY WE: TURN THE PAGE.”

Christina Applegate has tweeted she is “reeling and sobbing” and told her followers to unfollow her:

Jamie Lee Curtis in part said “it means a sure return to a more restrictive, some fear draconian time.”
