Marvel Studios officially announces filming has begun on Captain MarvelĀ and releases the synopsis.
The movie has actually been filming for a couple of weeks as set images have hit the net featuring Brie Larson in her Captain Marvel costume (thought by some fans to be a prototype Kree war suit), andĀ Jude Law has also been spotted in set picsĀ playing Mar-VellĀ (see below).
The Marvel Studios official announcement also releases a new image of Brie Larson fromĀ Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, as Larson visited to do research for her character in theĀ Captain MarvelĀ movie as Carol Danvers

Marvel Studios has begun principal photography in Los Angeles, California, on its newest film, āCaptain Marvel.ā The production is shooting in and around the greater Los Angeles area, which will also serve as the production base for the film. The production will also shoot on location in Fresno, California, as well as locations in Louisiana, including Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
